Patricia Ann Tuma

Patricia Ann Abrass Tuma, age 82, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 25, 2017. Patricia was born in Toledo, Ohio on February 1, 1935 to the late George and Marie Abrass.
Patricia was a loving grandmother. She enjoyed boating and fishing with her husband on Lake Erie. She was and excellent cook and baker. Pat enjoyed tending to her garden and roses. She was a devout Catholic and a longtime member of OLPH Parish. Pat was a substitute teacher for TPS.
Patricia is survived by her children Michelle (Mike) Palmer, Joe (Tracy) Tuma, Laurie (Joe) Basden, and Ken (Wendy) Tuma; her grandchildren Kelly (Chris) Doan, Alex and Beth Palmer, Lauren, Connor, and Abigail Tuma, Joseph and Jenna Basden, and William and Zachary Tuma; siblings Tom (Susan) Abrass and Georgia Manion. Preceded in death by her loving husband BIG Joe.
The family will receive guests on Thursday, March 2, 2017 from 2:00pm-8:00pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo (419-381-1900). The Funeral Service will begin at 10:00am on Friday. Presiding will be Fr. Jim Halleron. Private Burial.
Memorial Contributions will be to Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
