Patricia Stokes

Patricia "Pat" Stokes, age 79, of Toledo, passed away peacefully Sunday, February 27, 2022 at home with loving family by her side. She was born on September 18, 1942 to Leon and Helen Przekwas in Toledo. Pat worked at the Wyndham Hotel for many years until retiring. She enjoyed gardening, doing ceramics and loved shopping. Pat liked animals, especially dogs and her companion, Binkey. Her smile and spirit will be missed by those who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents. Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of 33 years, Jim Stokes; children, Lynn (Paul Newlan) Chaney and John (Kelly) Hawkins; step-children, Alicia (Gus) Perez and Todd (Cate) Stokes; grandchildren, Morgan, Taylor, Joshua, Kennedy, Aubrey, Brianna, Gabriel and Charlie; best friend, Lani "Red" McClendon; sister-in-law, Patty Miley; brother-in-law, William Stokes; and nieces, nephews and dear friends.

There will be no visitation at this time for Pat and the family had a private service to honor her. Newcomer Funeral Home – Northwest Chapel, Toledo (419-473-0300) assisted the family with professional services.
