Patricia A. Sesevich

Patricia A. "Patty" Sesevich, 80, of Toledo, passed away September 30, 2022. Patricia was born May 24, 1942 in Youngstown to Michael "Mickey" and Agnes (Hassey) Bires.

She attended St. Patrick's Elementary School and was a graduate of South High School, where she made lifelong friendships with her group of girlfriends known as the FADS. Patty was a woman of great faith who enjoyed attending Vineyard of Toledo and loved the Lord with all her heart. She was a former board member of Just As I Am Church and volunteered at ARC downtown. She treasured being involved in any church she attended, heading up Acts 29 Street Ministry, leading Bible Studies, and providing a home for several different people in times of need. Patty walked out her faith, opening her heart and home to the church and the un-churched. She was passionate to share her love of Jesus.

Left to forever cherish her memory are her siblings, Jerry (Suzanne) and Nancy (Dan); daughter-in-law, Michelle Sesevich; grandson, Matthew (Madalyn) Sesevich nieces, Daniella (David) Pickerel and Andi McDonald; nephew, Sean Michael McDonald; great-nephew, Gus Pickerel; and great-niece, Gia Pickerel. Patty was blessed to share her widowed years with the second love of her life, Ed Veauthier and many friends.

Patty was preceded in death by her beloved son, Scott; the love of her life, Walt; and her parents, Michael and Agnes Bires.

The family will receive guests Friday, October 7, 2022 from 2:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - West Sylvania Chapel, 3655 King Road (419-392-9500). Funeral Services will begin Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Bill Herzog officiating. Burial will follow at Toledo Memorial Park.

Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Patty's memory.
