Patricia A. Petiniot, age 70, of Toledo, passed away June 24, 2022 in her home surrounded by her husband and daughter. She was born July 24, 1951 in Toledo to William and Mary (Werning) Mineff. Pat graduated from Cardinal Stritch High School, Statzenberger College and Owens Community College with a degree as a Medical Assistant. She worked as a Medical Assistant for surgeons Cheleck, Tinn and Benson of the Toledo Clinic. She also worked as a traveling nurse, which she really enjoyed, retiring in 2000.
Pat was stricken with Renal Kidney failure and COPD. She underwent home dialysis daily by her husband, Kenneth, for 2 ½ years fighting to stay alive.
Pat loved Walleye and Perch fishing on their boat, but would not bait her hook or take the fish off. She also loved card games and bingo. Pat was very religious in her faith in Jesus and the Blessed Virgin Mary on the first Saturday's of the month. Pat was a very generous and giving person who would help anyone and ask for nothing in return.
Pat was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband of 37 years, Kenneth J. Petiniot; children, Charles Polinski, Stacy Polinski and Sabrina (Michael Bartlett, Jr.) Bartlett; grandson, Christian M. Bartlett; and faithful Pitbull/Boxer companion, "Jessie."
The family will receive guests Saturday, July 2, 2022 from 10:00 am – 11:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 628 Locust Street, Toledo, OH 43604 where a Rosary will be recited prior to Mass. The Funeral Mass will begin Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Lake Township Cemetery.
