Our beautiful mom went on to join our dad and brother in Heaven on Tuesday, February 17, 2015. She was born on June 14, 1930. She lived a full and active life.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George Wirick, 1975 and son, Ken Wirick, 2006. Left to carry on her legacy are her sons, Mike (Diane) Smith, David (Kathy) Wirick, Duane (Rhonda) Wirick; daughters, Pam (Mark) Cunningham and Lyn (Chuck) Henson; 19 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren and one on the way; 1 great-great-grandson; brothers, Gerry (Phyllis), Larry (Ruth) and Francis (Lynn) Smith; sister, Louise Heinl; and several nieces, nephews and "adopted" family members.
The family will receive guests on Sunday from 2 – 8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will begin Monday at 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Toledo Memorial Park.
Those wishing to make memorial contributions are asked to consider St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
