Patricia Jeanne (Jamerson) Kubicz

Patricia Jeanne (Jamerson) Kubicz, 75, of Swanton, Ohio passed away peacefully on August 14, 2024. She was born on June 5, 1949, to Josephine Jamerson. Patricia attended Waite High School and graduated in 1967.Patricia married John F. Kubicz on November 22, 1968, at St. Adalbert’s Catholic Church in Toledo, Ohio.

Patricia worked for St. Vincent’s and Mercy Health for over 30 years as unit clerk at St. V’s and as an administrative assistant at several Mercy satellite offices, most recently at Mercy Health Rehabilitation and Therapy in Perrysburg, Ohio when she retired.

Patricia was a faithful member of First Apostolic Church in Toledo, Ohio since 1975. She was a Sunday School teacher and faithfully sang in the church choir and sang many specials for holidays and conferences. She volunteered as a Chaplin in the ACTS prison ministry for several years at CCNO. Patricia and her husband, John, also taught a discipleship course at First Apostolic Church for many years and taught home Bible studies over the years; leading many souls to know the love of Jesus. Patricia, or better known as Sister Pat, was also very well known to boldly praise her Jesus and wave her red hankie in church.

A special thank you to all of her caregivers; Amy Nuhfer, the many ladies at Christian Home Care, Right at Home and especially the ladies of Ohio Living Hospice.

Patricia was preceded in death by her mother, Josephine Jamerson and loving husband, John F. Kubicz Sr. She is survived by her son, John F. (Charlotte) Kubicz Jr., her daughter, Bethany (Scott) Knestrick, her brother, John (Cheryl) Jamerson, and sister, Cynthia Smith. She adored her grandchildren, Brett Borck, Ariel Lynne (Brandon) Atherton, Kyle Kubicz and an honorary grandchild, Lorelai Christine. She also had three gorgeous great-grandchildren, Sophea (Phia), Sirena (Beans) and Sebastian (Bash).

The family will receive guests on Tuesday, August 20th from 4-8pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions – (Southwest Chapel), 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd. (419-381-1900). Funeral Services will begin on Wednesday, August 21, 2024, at 11am at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Highland Memorial Gardens, Waterville, Ohio.
