Patricia Kosnikowski

Patricia Kosnikowski, born May 22, 1933, to Anthony W. and Marie (Heltman) Kosnikowski. She graduated from Nativity School in 1947 and later from Central Catholic High School, Class of 1951. Patricia was also a graduate from Mercy School of Nursing, Class of 1964. She worked for over 30 years at the Toledo State Hospital, retiring in 1990. Most important to her was her family and her friends, above all she was always there for them. She will be dearly missed by those who loved her.

Left to cherish her memory is her brother, Thad (Alice) Kosnikowski; nieces, Michaelene Wilhelm and Jacqueline Hacker; great-nieces, Rachel (Stephan) Cready and Crystal (Erik) Heine; great-great-nephews, Tyson and Teegan; great-great-niece, Taylor and a host of beloved friends from over the years. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Tony Kosnikowski; sister, Shirley O'Hare and nephew, Tony Kosnikowski, Jr.

The family will receive guests on Wednesday, January 21, 2015 from 2-8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will begin in the funeral home on Thursday, January 22, 2015 at 9:00 a.m. followed by her Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. at St. Hyacinth, Parkside Blvd. at Victory Ave., Toledo, Ohio 43607. Rev. Gregory L. Peatee officiating.

Memorial Contributions may be given to a local Humane Society of your choice.

Pat's family would like to specially thank Hospice of Northwest Ohio for taking such great care of her and loving her as much as her family did, especially to Nurse Mary Ann, much love from Pat's family.
