Patricia J. Messenger

Patricia J. "Pat" (Snell) Messenger, age 78, of Monroe, MI, formerly of Toledo, went to be with her Jesus Friday, May 20, 2011. She was born on June 26, 1932 to Charles and Amelia (Veon) Snell in Toledo. Pat worked for 13 years at White Hut Restaurant and 20 years at the C.S.I. Pat was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Leslie Lee, sons, Gordon and Chuck Messenger, daughter, Mary (Messenger) Neely, son-in-law, Fred Neely brothers, Tom, Chuck and Vern and sisters, Betty, Tina, Micki, Ruth and Florence. Pat is survived by her loving children, Les (Chris), Rose (Jim) Baldwin and Larry "Spanky" (Pat) Messenger; daughter-in-law, Cindy Messenger; 15 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; brothers, Bill (Leslie) and Frank (Barb) Snell; and many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive guests on Tuesday from 2 - 8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will begin Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
