Patricia D. Fritz

On August 28, 2024, the world lost a very precious soul. Patricia Darca (Coulter) Fritz was born to Hattie (Mills) and Kenneth Coulter on May 26, 1932, in Perrysburg Township, Ohio. The family moved a lot in her younger years. At one point, while living in a tent in Texas, she was “attacked” by barbed wire and was treated with penicillin and subsequently was found to be allergic to that antibiotic and many more. The family moved back to the Bedford, Michigan area and while in high school, she met the love of her life. She graduated from Bedford high school in 1950. She married Dale Russell Fritz on July 18, 1951. Pat and Dale had two children, Dale (Dusty) Jr. and Patricia Lynn, and made their home on Foth Dr. in West Toledo, where she lived for many years until moving in with her son in 2004.

Pat is survived by her son, Dale (Leslie); her sister, Jaqueline Murray; two grandchildren, Amy (Steve) Stasinos and Sean (Christina) Fritz; seven great grandchildren, Judah, Izabella, Mackenzie, Josiah, Caleb, Lucian, and Matthew; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ken and Hattie; her husband, Dale; one great grandchild, Sean Michael; her brother, Ken (Red); and two sisters, Nancylea and Gloria.

The family will receive guests on Monday, September 9th, 2024 from 2:00 pm – 8:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home – Northwest Chapel, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo (419-473-0300). Guests will be received again at the funeral home on Tuesday, September 10th, 2024 from 10:00 am until 11:00 am. Funeral Services will follow at St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church, 5240 Talmadge Rd, Toledo, at 11:30 am. Interment will immediately follow at Ottawa Hill Memorial Park.
