Patricia (Esser) Disheaux

Patricia Elaine Disheaux, age 64, of Defiance, passed away April 9, 2015 at Mercy Hospital in Defiance and is now upon her confession of faith in the presence of her Lord, Jesus Christ. Patricia was born March 9, 1951 in Huntington, W. Virginia to Leo Scarberry and Wilma (Smith) Kalmbach. She was employed with Manor Care of Perrysburg before retiring. Her greatest interest was taking care of her family and spending time with her grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Patricia was also preceded in death by her brothers Benjamin and Richard Scarberry, step father Leslie Kalmbach and her first husband Joseph Esser. She is survived by her husband, John Disheaux, daughters Wilma (Hal) Green and Laura McClanahan, sons Joseph (Stacey) II and James (Elizabeth) Esser, step children Shane (Tara) Disheaux, Dawn Disheaux and Michelle Brown, brother Garland (Tonya) Scarberry, grandchildren Timothy, Ryan, Mercedes, Ashley, Alexis, Jordan, Brooklynn, Jospeh III, Josiah, Daniel, Rachel, Shea, Cam, Gianna, Beau and Emily, great grandchildren Kendra, Gage, Zaydin and Izabella, sister in law Jacquelyn Johnston along with many nieces and nephews and her faithful canine companion Tucker.


The family will receive guests Sunday, April 12, 2015 from 3:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home - NW Chapel, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will begin Monday at 10:30 am. at the funeral home followed by burial at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
