Patricia Cleland-Blinn

Patricia Cleland-Blinn, age 80, of Sylvania, Ohio passed away January 5, 2017 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio Perrysburg. She was born April 14, 1936 in Glens Falls, New York to Thomas and Julia (Gilmore) Cleland. Patricia was an LPN at Toledo Hospital for several years. She was also a Docent at the Toledo Museum of Art. Patricia was a member of the Sigma Phi Sorority. At the age of 50, Patricia went back to school and graduated from Bowling Green State University with a degree in Sociology. She then worked for Lucas County Children's Services for 5 years. Patricia enjoyed playing bridge, but most importantly spending time with her grandchildren.

Patricia is survived by her children, Jonathan (Maureen Ireland) Blinn, Timothy A. Blinn and Julie B. Metzger; grandchildren, Ashley, Erin, Greg, Zach, Ryan, Bryan and Amanda; father to Patricia's children, Robert D. Blinn. In addition to her parents, Patricia was preceded in death by her brother, Major General Thomas G. Cleland.

The family will receive guests Tuesday, January 10, 2017 from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home - SW Chapel, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd. (419-381-1900).

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Patricia's memory.
