Patricia Ann Torok

Patricia Ann "Pat" (Schiffer) Torok, age 68, of Toledo, passed away Tuesday, May 29, 2007 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Toledo. She was born on May 10, 1939 to Henry and Bernice (Forgette) Schiffer in Sylvania. Pat was a 1957 graduate of Whitmer High School. She was a secretary with Toledo Edison for 17 years and then worked for Lucas County Children Services for 22 years before retiring. Pat was very artistic and enjoyed all types of arts and crafts. She was often scrapbooking, card making and made porcelain dolls. Pat also loved to knit and crochet, often making baby sweaters and hats for the Ronald McDonald House. She was a host family for YFU. Pat was a very loving, creative, caring person who will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Pat is survived by her loving family, siblings: Albert Schiffer, of Olathe, KS, Jacquelyn (James) Bennett, of Ottawa Lake, MI, Judy (David) Dewey and Mary (Gary) Ricard, both of Toledo; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

There will be no visitation. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, June 9, 2007 at St. Clement Catholic Church at 10:00 a.m. The Newcomer Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
