Patricia A. Bunker

Patricia A. Bunker, age 65, of Toledo, passed away Wednesday, October 8, 2008 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Toledo. She was born February 20, 1943 to Frank and Bette (Miller) Franchina in Toledo. Pat was a waitress with several area restaurants, including YumYum's, Chet's, Family Affair and King's Taste. She was a very diligent and hard worker, beginning work at the young age of 13 at her parent's ice-cream shop. Pat was a proud and loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She cherished the time she was able to spend with her family laughing, joking and giving them special memories to hold in their hearts forever. Pat was a selfless person offering her laughter and many talents to those she loved.

In addition to her parents, Pat was preceded in death by her stepbrother, Roger Franchina. She is survived by her daughters, Lori (Lee) Houghton and Linda Baptista; son, Russell Bunker, Jr.; grandchildren, Andrea (Jason) and Tanner; sister, Susan (George) Bunker and special friends, Sharon; Sonyia and Marsha.

To honor Pat's request there will be no viewing.

The family will receive guests Monday from 2-8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300) with a Scripture at 7:00 p.m. A Memorial Service to Celebrate Pat's Life will begin Tuesday at 12:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
