Pamela Jean Williams, age 66 of Toledo, passed away on Thursday, August 27, 2015 at St. Luke's Hospital Maumee, Ohio. She was born on June 27, 1949 in Toledo to the late Oren Edward and Betty Jane Gottschalk Williams.
Pam is a proud alumna of Libbey High School. Following graduation from Maumee Valley Nursing School, she worked as a Registered Nurse in the emergency room at St. Luke's Hospital for 34 years before her retirement. She loved to cook and bake. Her family, friends and co-workers often were recipients of her culinary talents. She enjoyed attending Walleye hockey and Mud Hens baseball games. Pam had a deep love and affection for her family, including her cats and the Waterford Apartment Community.
She is predeceased by her sister Beverly Moharter. She is survived by her sister Linda (Jerry) Gruber and her brother Jack (Susan) Williams, nieces; Jennifer (Nitin) Malhotra, Jacquelyn (Jason) Duty, Lauren Williams and Julie Gruber, nephews; Tab (Amber) Williams, Timothy (Kerry) Gruber and Tom Gruber; great nieces Naina Malhotra and Clarke Duty, great nephew Rajan Malhotra; and a host of life long friends including Millie Brennan and Tempy Mignano.
A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM on Monday, August 31, 2015 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo (419-381-1900). Family will receive friends at Newcomer from 1:00 to 3:00 PM prior to the service.
