Toledo

Pamela Anne White, a beacon of kindness and compassion, passed away peacefully on November 29, 2024, in Sylvania, Ohio. She was born on September 21, 1955, and her journey through life was one marked by unwavering loyalty to her family and friends, as well as a radiant love for living.

Pamela's education as a Licensed Practical Nurse, which she achieved after graduating from Start High School in 1973, laid the foundation for her caring nature. She dedicated herself to nurturing others, reflecting the same warmth and care she extended to her loved ones. Her empathy and ability to bring joy to those around her left an indelible mark on all who had the privilege to meet her.

In her leisure, Pamela found joy in a myriad of pursuits. Her creative spirit shone through her love for crafting, while her culinary talents established her as a great cook and baker. She delighted in preparing meals that brought family and friends together, creating memories that will be cherished forever. Her passion for life was also evident in her love for the Detroit Tigers and the Michigan Wolverines, where she could often be seen cheering passionately for her teams.

Pamela's greatest joys came from the time spent with her grandchildren, Nova and Quill Jeffreys, who filled her heart with a love that was deep and profound. She cherished every moment spent with them, whether it was sharing stories, making crafts, or simply enjoying the wonders of life together.

Traveling Up North in Michigan and skiing were some of her favorite pastimes. Each journey resonated with her adventurous spirit, allowing her to explore the beauty of nature and create lasting memories with her loved ones.

Pamela is survived by her devoted daughter, Amanda (Damon) Jeffreys, her beloved grandchildren Nova and Quill Jeffreys, her father Don Stambaugh, her mother Joyce Rowand, and her step-mother Pat Stambaugh. She is also survived by her sister Patricia (Dennis) McQuillen, her brother Donald "Brent" Stambaugh, her sister-in-law Holly (Bob) White, and her lifelong devoted friend Susan (Dale) Meyer. In addition, she leaves behind a host of loving nieces, nephews, and friends who all treasured her deeply.

Though Pamela's spirit has returned to the universe, her love will continue to resonate in the hearts of those she touched. She was predeceased by her son Jason White, her step-father Al Rowand, her step-brother Gary Rowand, and her Uncle Bill Beckham. They welcomed her into the next chapter with open arms, but she will be profoundly missed by all who knew her.

Pamela Anne White leaves behind a legacy of love, joy, and compassion, which will forever illuminate the lives she graced and inspire those she knew.

A celebration of Pamela's life will be planned for a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio and the Franciscan Center.
