Pamela Pierson

Pamela J. "Pam" (DeVault) Pierson, age 58 of Toledo passed away Saturday, April 30, 2011 at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center surrounded by her loving family. She was born July 4, 1952 to Frank and Betty (Stirr) DeVault. Pam devoted her life to the happiness of her family and they will remember her as a strong, courageous and caring person.

Left to cherish her memory is her children, Shannon (Ra) Ros, Robert (Sara) DeVault, Nichole (Dean) Walentowski, Robert (Tammy) Pierson and Zackery DeVault; 18 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren along with many dear extended family members. Preceding her in death was her husband, Robert W. Pierson and granddaughter, Olivia.

The family will receive guests Thursday from 12:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). A Celebration of Life will follow in the funeral home at 5:00 p.m.

The family would like to specially thank the Palliative Care Unit at St. Vincent's Mercy Medical Center for the diligent care they provided to Pam.
