Orvin D. Lamke

Orvin D. Lamke, age 85, of Temperance, Michigan, passed away Friday morning, May 20, 2016 at his home with his wife Pam by his side. He is the son of the late Charles and Pearl (Nix) Lamke. He was born in Palisades, Minnesota on September 22, 1930. Orvin proudly served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Korean War. He retired from the railroad after many years of service.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Geneva Lamke in 2008 and 7 brothers. Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife, Pam (Hare) Lamke; 2 brothers, Al Lamke and Roland Lamke; 2 sisters, Pearl Welcome and Jeanette Watson; 5 step-children, Sandra Maupin, Dan Whitman, Dave Whitman, Julie Clark and Corey Stantz; many precious grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Graveside Services will be held on Thursday, June 2, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at Toledo Memorial Park, 6382 Monroe St., Sylvania, Ohio, 43560 (meeting at the front gates at 12:45 p.m.) with the Lucas County Burial Corp. performing Military Honors.
