Orville "Big O" Laffartha passed away the evening of Sunday, February 16, 2025. He was born on March 16, 1977 to his loving mother, Laura Laffartha. Orville lived most of his life in Toledo and lived in Washington, not once, but twice.
Orville enjoyed many things in life, but his main joys were video games, with Resident Evil being his go-to favorite, music, and cinema. Orville was pretty open about music genres, with Classic Rock being a go-to. However, something you could catch Orville listening to often, was Meatloaf; not the food, but artist! Cinemas of all kinds was one way Orville would enjoy his time. Often asking "Can anyone name another role in!" Orville could talk horror all day, especially about "A Nightmare on Elm Street". He was always up for an adventure and it didn't matter where; he loved to travel when he could. Although Orville did not have children of his own, he loved his nieces, nephews and girlfriend's grandchildren as if they were his own.
Orville leaves behind his mother, Laura Laffartha; girlfriend, Cindy Eusey; siblings Vernon Gage, Heaven Gage, and Michael Gage.
Friends and family will be received at Newcomer Funeral Home, Southwest Chapel, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo, Ohio 43614 on Tuesday, February 25, 2025 from 10:00 AM-11:00 AM with a funeral service at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
