Ora H. Clark

Ora Harold Clark, age 72 of Toledo, passed away Friday, December 26, 2008 at Lake Park surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Toledo August 13, 1936 to Ralph and Mabel (Ott) Clark who preceded him in death. Ora was employed with Teledyne CAE for 33 years, retiring in 1998. He married the love of his life Elaine (Mercure) on November 10, 1958 in Brattleboro, VT while stationed there in the USAF. Ora will be remembered as a loving husband, father and grandfather. His favorite past-time was Raceway Park where he used to work as a part-time program seller and groomsman for many horses over the years.

In addition to his parents, Ora was preceded in death by his brother, Ralph Jr. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Elaine Clark; children, Robin Minkowski of TN; Theresa (Michael) Vasko of Sylvania; James (Lola) Clark of Maumee; Brenda (Russell) Norris of Wauseon; Carol (John) Oberdier of Toledo; Sharon (Ernie) Tagle of Toledo; 17 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren and brother, Sam (Joyce) Clark of MI.

The family will receive guests Monday from 4-8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). A Memorial Service will begin Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home.
