Norma L. Mccoy

Norma L. McCoy, resident of Springfield, OH, passed away on March 12, 2023. Daughter of the late Rev. William and Frieda (nee Sharp) Fitzpatrick. Beloved wife of the late Glenn McCoy. Cherished mother of Tonya (Joe) Scherf and Tammie (Aaron) Mast. Adored grandmother of Alec, Zach, Noah, Sam, Leah. Treasured cat mom to "Lily".

Norma spent her younger years taking care of her children, and spending time with her family. Later in life, she worked for Stevens Van Lines for over twenty years, where she eventually retired from. Norma spent her life playing the piano and singing at Shelton Park Church of God, growing up in the church, she was known for her exceptional piano playing abilities. In retirement, she spent a lot of her time in her garden, planting flowers and tending to her plants. She will be dearly missed by her family members and friends.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, March 19, 2023 from 12:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home – Southwest Chapel at 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd. Toledo, OH 43614 with a service immediately following, starting at 4:00 p.m. Norma will be laid to rest at a later date.
