Norma Laffartha

Norma Laffartha, born July 15, 1929 passed away March 14, 2008. She left this world to join her family in Heaven. She was a lifetime member of the VFW Post #2984 and a member of the Ladies Auxiliary. Norma enjoyed bingo and camping and fishing at East Harbor State Park. She was a loving wife and mother and only gave more than she received. Norma will be greatly missed by all that knew her.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her daughter, Irene Laffartha and son, Aaron Laffartha. Norma leaves behind her husband of 63 years, Herbert R. Laffartha, Sr., whom she loved dearly; children: Dawn and Mike Miller, Gloria Smith, David Laffartha and Robin Friess; 14 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. Her favorite grandchildren who were there till the end, Tracy Smith and Ruth Laffartha whose love and help made their grandmother's passing a lot easier.

A Memorial Service in Norma's honor will be held at a later date. The Newcomer Funeral Home (419-473-0300) assisted the family with professional services.
