Norma L. (Hess) Gerber, age 90, of Toledo, Ohio passed away September 2, 2014 at Ridgewood Manor. She was born January 25, 1924 in Toledo, Ohio to Ernest and Ruth (Sherman) Hess.
Norma is survived by her daughters, Karan (Joe) Shinaver and Tory Gerber; daughter-in-law, Paulette (Don) Yasenchak; grandchildren, Brad (Amber) Gerber, Mandy Shinaver and Faith Shinaver; great-grandchildren, Brooklyn Gerber, Braden Gerber and Mason Gerber; and sister, Shirley Schick. In addition to her parents, Norma was preceded in death by son, Terry Gerber; brothers and sisters.
The family will receive guests Sunday, September 7, 2014 from 12:00 pm - 4:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home - SW Chapel, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd. (419-381-1900). A Memorial Service will be held Sunday at 3:30 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Norma's memory.
