Norma Jean Gould Harrison, age 82, of Toledo, formerly a resident of Luther Crest, passed away peacefully surrounded by her daughters, Tuesday, December 7th, 2010. She was born September 21st, 1928 to William C. and Helen J. (Franklin) Poulin in Toledo. Norma enjoyed special times with her daughters shopping and going out to eat. She truly cherished the time she was able to spend with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents Norma was preceded in death by her husband of 26 years, Charles E. "Ted" Gould, infant son, Billy and brother-in-law, Donald Beauch. Norma is survived by her daughters, Lynn (Dean) Dartt, Pam (John) Riley, Susan (Fred) Maciejewski and Nancy (Rick) Bourbina; brother, William (Lorraine) Poulin, sister, Carol Beauch, grandchildren, Patrick, Eddie, Crystal, Corey, Jenny, Brent, Katie and Laura and great grandchildren, James, Skyler, Annabelle and Colin and several nieces and nephews. And a special thank you to our dear friend, Miao Hilfinger who helped with Norma's care.
The family will receive guests Thursday from 2-8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd. (419-381-1900). Funeral Services will begin Friday at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Toledo Memorial Park.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to Linda Martinez of Northwest Ohio Hospice as well as all other Hospice staff and caregivers for the loving care and support they provided. A heartfelt thanks also goes to the nurses and caregivers of Flower Hospital and Sunset House for making her recent stay comfortable for her and her family.
