Noreen Gaines

Noreen K. Gaines, 75, of Toledo died Monday May 10, 2004 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Toledo. She was born February 28, 1929 in Abington, Pennsylvania . She married William F. Gaines March 24, 1949 and he is deceased. Noreen graduated from St. Ursula Academy in 1946. She retired from the Toledo Country Club where she worked for many years. She was also a member of the St. Ursula Academy Alumni Association.

Survivors include daughters Sharon (Alan) Harbson, and Christine (Randy) Lewis; sons Michael (Elaine) Gaines, and Martin (Nancy) Gaines; eleven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; brother Fred (Joan) Klippel; one niece; two nephews; special friend "Mr. Cat". "We are going to miss you mom, and great-grandma Noni."

The family will receive friends Thursday from 12:00 to 2:00 P.M. at Newcomer-Farley Funeral Home 4150 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo (419-473-0300). Services will be held Thursday at 2:00 P.M. at the funeral home. The family suggests tributes be made to Hospice of Northwest 800 S. Detroit Ave., Toledo 43609.
