Noble T. Clinton, Jr.

Noble T. Clinton Jr. age 63, of Toledo, Ohio passed away in his home on Sunday, November 25, 2018 after a courageous battle with Parkinson's disease with his beloved wife at his side.

Noble T. Clinton Jr. was born December 6, 1954 to the late Noble T. Clinton Sr. and Ida Bell Morris in Toledo, Ohio. Noble graduated from Edward Drummond Libbey High School in 1972. He also attended the University of Toledo.

Noble was a proud veteran of the United States Marines as well as The United States Army reserve. Noble served for 16 years in the Marines. He completed his military career in 1992 by retiring from The Army National Guard as an E7 Gunnery Sergeant. After his 22 years of service, Noble began a career with the United States Postal Service where he worked as a mail handler and a crew leader, retiring in 2011.

On February 14, 1992 Noble married Carolyn Besteda. They remained married for 26 years until his passing.

Noble is survived by his loving wife, Carolyn Besteda-Clinton; daughters, Oleen Nicole Clinton, Terilyn Nichelle (Ivan) Coley, Michelle Lee (Samuel) Woodberry; step-daughter, Chandra (Gregory) Besteda-Powell; sons, Richard Terell Clinton, Daniel Clinton; step-son, Marlon Besteda Sr.; 12 grandchildren and four step-grandchildren.

Noble is surpassed in death by his parents and grandson, Tyler.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 30, 2018 at 12:30 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo (419-381-1900). Pastor Cedric Brock will be officiating. Family and friends may visit from 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. prior to the service. Burial services will be held at the Historic Woodlawn Cemetery, 1502 Central Avenue, Toledo.
