Nicholas Alan Zimmerman

Nicholas A. "Nick" Zimmerman, age 28, of St. Augustine, Florida, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, April 29, 2021. He was born November 9, 1992 to Steven and Cynthia (Gareau) Zimmerman in Toledo, Ohio. Nick attended Start High School. He was an avid football fan of the Carolina Panthers. While living in Florida, he made many new friendships he cherished that helped him along the way. Nick was a hard worker and very dedicated at everything he did. He was always putting others before himself. Nick loved nothing more than spending time with his children. His smile, big heart and caring nature will truly be missed by all who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his Nana, Mary Gasior. Left to cherish Nick's memory are his children, Amaya-Anna, Mario and Santi; mother of his children, Jessica Maya; parents, Cindy and Steve Zimmerman; grandparents, Joanne and Terry Bartel, Rich Gareau and Sharon Anderson; brothers, Matthew and Mitchell Zimmerman; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends.

A Celebration of Life to honor Nick will be held on Monday, May 10, 2021 from 12 – 5:00 p.m. at Toledo Botanical Gardens, Crosby Center, 5403 Elmer Dr., Toledo, OH 43615.

Those wishing to make memorial contributions in honor of Nick are asked to consider his children c/o Cindy or Steve Zimmerman.
