Nellie (Crane) Warren, age 83 of Toledo, Ohio, passed away peacefully with two of her daughters by her side on November 5, 2018. Nellie was born on June 3, 1935 in the Sugar Camp Branch Holler in Cawood, Kentucky to John William and Carlie (Sargent) Crane. Nellie was not given a middle name as her Mama said it was wash day and, "Ain't nobody got time for that!"
Nellie enjoyed jewelry, making jewelry, talking about jewelry and watching her favorite television channel, Jewelry Television. Nellie loved her family, particularly her precious, precious grandbabies.
Along with her parents, Nellie was preceded in death by all eight of her siblings; Ralph, Eaf, Georgia Mae, Marie, Creed, Seymore, Henry and Elizabeth. She was also preceded in death by her special friend and neighbor, Honey Sidel.
Nellie was loved by and will be greatly missed by her three daughters, Wanda Canfield, of Garden City, Michigan, Tonya Warren, of Toledo, Ohio, and Tina Marvin of Swanton, Ohio; Special Son-in-Law, Victor Marvin, of Swanton, Ohio; Grandbabies, April Schock, of Tecumseh, Michigan, Special Grand Son-in-Law, Douglas Schock, of Tecumseh, Michigan, Stephanie Canfield, of Inkster, Michigan, Emily Marvin, of Swanton, Ohio, and Haley Marvin, of Swanton, Ohio; and Great-granddaughter, Kelci Schock, of Tecumseh, Michigan. Nellie also leaves behind her super, special Fur-son, Jackson Riley Tiggerbottom the First and four Fur-granddogs, PennyGwen, Buddy, Bailey and Frankie(stein). She also leaves behind a great-grand dog, Sadie Schock.
The family will receive guests on Saturday, December 1, 2018 from 1 – 4:00 p.m. at Newcomer – Southwest Chapel, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo (419-381-1900) with a Celebration of Life beginning at 4:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
