Nellie Faye Harrington

Nellie Faye Harrington, age 78, of Oregon, passed away Sunday, August 4, 2013 at Lake Park Nursing Home. She was born on March 26, 1935 to William and Willie (Hayes) Miller in Briceville, Tennessee. Faye was half Cherokee Indian and proud of her heritage. She was a very caring, loving lady who had a huge heart and loved to help others. Faye loved the time spent with her family. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Leroy Miller and a sister, June Lay. Faye is survived by her loving husband of 37 years, Chester "Chet" Harrington; children, Ricky Lynn Hammock and Michael Hammock; grandsons, Cody and Wesley; siblings, Bobby (Donna) Miller, Sue Phillips and Glenna Rose Wolford; and many other relatives and dear friends.

The family will receive guests on Thursday from 3 – 8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will begin Friday at 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Springfield Township Cemetery.
