Neil S. Paquette, age 81 of Toledo, Ohio passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 27, 2012 at Ebeid Hospice Residence where he was surrounded by his family.
Neil enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He worked at various drug stores until his retirement. Neil was a member of Collingwood United Methodist Church for 68 years and served as an usher. He was also involved with the Collingwood United Methodist Church Men's Club. He volunteered many hours at Igniting Ministries in Toledo.
Neil was preceded in death by his parents, Melvin and Mildred Paquette; brother, Nils Paquette; sisters, Karis Mahler and Darla Cook and nephew, Michael Brandt. Left to cherish his memory is his sister, Brenda (Larry) Witt; many nieces, nephews and great-nieces, and nephews.
The family will receive guests on Sunday, December 30, 2012 from 2-4:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will begin in the funeral home on Sunday at 4:00 p.m.
Neil's family would like to thank the staff at Ebeid Hospice for all their work and dedication.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Collingwood United Methodist Church, 701 Phillips Ave., Toledo, OH 43612 or to Promedica Ebeid Hospice.
