Nancy J. Westfall

Nancy J. Westfall, age 63, of Toledo, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 20, 2022 at Mercy St. Vincent Hospital with her loving family by her side. She was born on July 7, 1958 to Dale and Alice (Rueve) Thatcher in Toledo. Nancy was a 1976 graduate of Whitmer High School in Cosmetology. She then went on to work as a hairdresser for 45 years ending her career at Countryside Retreat Salon in Lambertville, MI. Nancy enjoyed camping, riding her motorcycle, traveling, gardening and arts and crafts. She loved animals especially her cats. Nancy had a passion for photography, having a studio for many years in Point Place, PhotoArt. She had an eye for capturing nature, families, weddings and anything with beauty. Nancy was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend. Her smile, spirit and caring nature will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, John Thatcher. Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of 41 years, Michael Westfall; daughter, Michelle (Andy) Fleming, of Ashland, OH; grandson, Robert (Amber Johns) Westfall; great-granddaughter, Amelia Westfall; siblings, Carol Barteck, Charles (Jody) Thatcher, Sharon Thatcher, and William Thatcher; many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.

The family will receive guests on Wednesday, June 1, 2022 from 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home – Northwest Chapel, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo (419-473-0300) with Memorial Services beginning at 6:00 p.m.
