Nancy E. Spring

Nancy E. Spring, born on May 2, 1934, in Toledo, Ohio, peacefully departed this life on January 24, 2025, at the age of 90, in Waterville, Ohio.

Nancy dedicated her professional career to the banking industry, proudly serving as a banker for PNC. In addition to her professional pursuits, Nancy was a member of the Trilby Methodist Church. Her interests were varied; she found joy in skiing, golfing, and tennis, and was a valued member of the Toledo Ski Club. Nancy's passion for quilting was particularly noteworthy. Her talent was recognized at Sauders Village, where her quilts won blue ribbons, signifying her skill and dedication to her craft.

Nancy is survived by her loving family: her daughter, Carrie (Mark) Spencer; her grandson, Jared Spencer; as well as her great-grandchildren, Paige, Caiden, and Kairi, and her great-great granddaughter, Violet. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Ethel (Trombley) Nicely; her sister, Marilyn; and her brothers, Dick and Bobby.

A memorial gathering in honor of Nancy will be held on January 29, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, followed by a memorial service at 4:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, Northwest Chapel located at 4150 W Laskey Rd, Toledo, OH 43623.

Nancy E. Spring will be remembered for her warmth, generosity, and the love she shared with those around her. Her legacy of family, faith, and passion for life will continue to inspire those who knew her.
