Nancy Mae Olmstead, age 79, resident of Toledo, Ohio, joined her husband, Jim, in Heaven, on Thursday, December 24, 2020. She was born on July 14, 1941, in Toledo, Ohio, to John Frank and Evelyn Jane (Morse) Werder.
Nancy graduated from DeVilbiss High School, where she met her husband of 56 years, Jim Olmstead. Together, they had four children. The Lord and family were most important to Nancy, that being said, her relationship with her granddaughter, Tiffany, was extraordinary. Nancy brightened the world with her beautiful smile and infectious laugh. Nancy was loved by many and will be greatly missed.
Those left to forever cherish her memory are her four children, Peggy (Roy) Gruetter, Larry and Randy Olmstead, and Pam Miller (Mike Thomas); grandchildren, Brayden, Chandler, and Fawn; great-grandchildren, Dustin and Devin; brother, John (Liz) Werder; and niece, Sarah, and nephew, John Michael.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, James "Jim" Olmstead.
