Nancy L. Priebe

Nancy L. Priebe, age 73, of Sylvania, passed away Friday, February 12, 2016 at the Toledo Hospital. She was born on February 12, 1943 to John and Bernadine Grudt in Van Nuys, California. Nancy was employed with the Kroger Co. for 34 years until retiring in 2008. She started as a deli clerk, then a deli/bakery manager until she was promoted to Head Florist at the Sylvania store. Nancy enjoyed painting, sewing, crocheting, gardening, arts and crafts, bird watching at the Lakehouse and spending time with her family. She was an awesome cook and baker, which will be missed by all.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brother, Byron "Ken" Grudt. Nancy is survived by her loving husband of 36 years, Ed Priebe; daughter, Kristine Kraemer; step-son, Erik Priebe; former son-in-law, Bruce Ladd; grandchildren, Kristy Ladd, Lauren Weber, Zachary Ladd and Anneliese Priebe; great-grandchildren, Wyatt, Ryan and Westen; sisters, Janet VanCamp and Lois English; and her loving canine companion, Peaches.

The family will receive guests on Thursday from 2 – 8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will begin Friday at 11:00 a.m. at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church, 2770 W. Central Ave., Toledo 43606 with visitation one hour prior in church. Entombment will follow in Toledo Memorial Park.
