Nancy Haynes

Nancy J. (Ayers) Haynes, age 54, of Toledo, was unexpectedly taken from her loving family on Wednesday, September 26, 2012. She was born on January 22, 1958 to Frank and Cecile (Henderson) Ayers in Toledo. Nancy was a graduate of Whitmer High School, Class of 1976 . For 20 years she worked at Kroger and most recently she worked at Hallmark. In her spare time she enjoyed making jewelry, gardening, fishing, camping and going on tropical vacations. Most precious to Nancy was her family, they were her pride and joy, especially her grandchildren. Her family will remember her as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt. Nancy's family will never forget her quick wit, wonderful sense of humor and her strong will.

Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband of 23 years, Steven R. Haynes; children, Amy Alexander, Jason Alexander and fiancé, Brandy Grant, Steven Haynes and Brooke Haynes; grandchildren, Shyler, Shaylin and Shevy Alexander; siblings, Dan (Joyce) Ayers, Pam Sullivan and Don (Misty) Ayers; many nieces and nephews and a host of dear friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother-in-law, Terry Sullivan.

The family will receive guests on Monday from 2:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will begin in the funeral home on Tuesday at 10:30 a.m.
