Nancy D. Frey

Nancy D. Frey, age 76, of Toledo, passed away on Saturday June 10, 2017 at St. Anne Mercy Hospital. She was born February 5, 1941 to John B. and Mary Dennis in Chillicothe, Ohio. She married Alfred "Fritz" Frey on June 24, 1961. She was the secretary at St. Clement Grade School where she was beloved by staff, students and parents alike; retiring in 2009. She loved to spend time with her family, enjoyed traveling and socializing with her friends.

She is survived by her children, Linda (Tim) Knerr, Nancy Ann (Dave) Reeves, John (Jen) Frey and Andrew (Beth) Frey; grandchildren, Stephanie, Kathryn, Patrick, Abigail (A.J.), Gus, Otto, Eden and Wyatt and great granddaughter, Lily; siblings, Audrey Sparks, Michael Dennis, Charles Dennis, Patrick Dennis, Mary Jane Rogers and sisters-in-law, Judy Dennis and Joann Dennis. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, and brothers, John B. Dennis, Jr, and Stephen Dennis.

The family will receive guests Wednesday from 5-8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. Toledo, OH 43623 and a Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday at St. Clement Church, 3030 Tremainsville Rd., Toledo, OH 43613.
