Nancy Bloom
Nancy M. Bloom, age 73, of Toledo, passed away Thursday, November 5, 2009 at the Toledo Hospital. She was born November 8, 1935 to Leslie and Maria(Wilkins) Matthews in Toledo.
Nancy is survived by, her loving husband of 52 years, Jack Bloom of Toledo; daughter, Lisa (Kevin Young) Horrell of Toledo; son, Jack (Wendy) Bloom Jr. of Temperance; Steve (Aimee) Bloom of Toledo; grandchildren, Jamie, Heather, Lauren, Lori, Kelsey, Kaylee, Tommy, Jordan, Kyle; and four great-grandchildren; sister Bonnie (Jim) Osborne, her precious dog, 'Toby,' and a host of many special friends.
Preceding her in death are her parents and brother, Louis Matthews.
Nancy enjoyed her cottage on Lake Wilson, sharing many memories with her family and her friends. Nancy will be remembered as a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother and a great friend.
The family will receive guests Monday, November 9, 2009 from 2-7:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Memorial Services will begin Monday at 7:00 p.m. in the funeral home. Inurnment will be at a later date.
