Myrla June Nunley, age 81, of Maumee passed away June 25, 2022, peacefully at home surrounded by her family. She was born to the late Elmer and Blanche Mason on November 25, 1940 in Blissfield, MI
Myrla was a homemaker who enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
She had many hobbies she enjoyed over the years which included bingo, knitting, yahtzee and going to garage sales. She also attended the Perrysburg Senior Center for many years and made many special friends.
Myrla also enjoyed a special relationship with her sister Margaret Nunn. Even though her sister lived miles away in Brooks, Ky they talked on the phone for hours almost daily.
Myrla is survived by two children, her son Michael Nichols of Toledo and her daughter Melisa(William) Harter of Maumee, grandchildren and great grand children.
She is preceded in death by her husband Lewis Nunley and son Kelly Nichols
Service and burial will be held at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park Tuesday, July 5, 2022 at 12:00 pm
The family wishes to give a special thank you to Ohio Living Home Health and Hospice and all the nurses and aides that gave great care in the last few weeks of her life.
