Myra Jean Chafin

Myra Jean Chafin, age 75, of Toledo, passed away Thursday, September 14, 2006 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Toledo. She was born on October 6, 1930 to Press and Susie (Horton) Collier in Albertville, AL. Myra Jean often enjoyed spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Millard, 1 brother and 3 sisters. Myra Jean is survived by her daughters: Kay (Robert) Pierce, Cindy McCormack and Charlene Brinck; grandchildren: Rodney, Ryan, Jennifer, Michael and Jessica; great-grandchildren: Alex, Kaleigh, Connor, Keegan, Anthony & Isaiah; and sister: Dolly Mitchell.

There will be no visitation or services for Myra Jean, per her wishes. The Newcomer Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.

Those wishing to make monetary donations in honor of Myra Jean are asked to consider the Toledo Human Society.
