Moline A. Smith

Moline A. Smith, age 96, of Toledo, passed away Monday, July 20th, 2009 at University of Medical College of Toledo. She was born May 6th, 1913 to Marshal and Louisa (Davis) in Red Boiling Springs, Tennessee. Moline was a member of Bethel Missionary Baptist Church in Rossford. She enjoyed going out to eat at several area restaurants with her family. She was a talented seamstress and worked for Toledo Furs for a while in her younger years. Moline loved flowers, red impatient were her favorite flowers and she looked forward every spring to planting them in her yard.

In addition to her parents, Moline was preceded in death by her husband, Ray A. Smith; siblings, Burt; Myrtle; Nora; Flossie; Fred and Dillard and her daughter-in-law, Wanda Smith. Moline is survived by her loving son, Tommie (Shirley) Smith; grandson, Jeffery (Carole) Smith; great grandsons, Ryan and Tyler Smith and special nieces, Peggy (Roger) Allen and Barbara Anderson.

The family will receive guests Thursday from 3-8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will begin Friday at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
