Mitchell L. Lampkin

Mitchell L. "Mitch" Lampkin, age 53, of Sylvania, passed away peacefully Wednesday, June 27, 2012 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born on November 6, 1958 to Earl and Michiko (Katayama) Lampkin in Toledo. Mitch was employed with Jeep for 28 years until retiring. He loved motorcycles, race cars and was an avid fisherman. Mitch loved nothing more than the time spent with his family. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his parents. Mitch is survived by his loving wife of almost 19 years, Krista Lampkin; children, Carlyann, Rebecca Lynn, Alexander Louis and Amelia Joy Lampkin; grandchildren, Jared, Jacob, Gabriel, Peyton, Ian and Rheyna; brothers, William, Karl and Ralph (Karen) Lampkin; sister, Joy (William) Neiderman; and many nieces, nephews, relatives and dear friends.

The family will receive guests on Sunday from 1 – 6:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will begin at 6:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
