Milton Mayo Hunt, age 96, of Toledo, passed away March 15, 2016. Mill was born May 18, 1919 in Bald Knob, AR to Thomas and Lela (Smith) Hunt and served his country honorably in the US Army during WWII. Mill was an instructor at Kurtz National School of Meat Cutting. He enjoyed traveling, fishing and cooking outdoors.
In addition to his parents, Mill was also preceded in death by his loving wife of 47 years, Patricia (Goodrich) Hunt, sons, David and Garland Hunt, grandson, Derrick Mosley, 3 brothers, and 1 sister. He is survived by his sons, Milton (Connie) Hunt, Jr., Roderick Thompson, Elvin Miles and Lamont Hunt, Daughters, Glenda Mosley, Patsy Haines and Elaine (Juan Jones) Miles-Jones, granddaughters, Robin (Dexter) Birks and April Haines, grandson, Jarrod (Kelly) Mosley, and additional grandchildren and host of great grandchildren.
The family will receive guests Saturday, March 19, 2016 from 10-11:00 am at Newcomer Funeral Home - NW Chapel, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). with Funeral Services starting at 11:00 am. at the funeral home. Entombment will follow at Historic Woodlawn Cemetery with military honors.
Memorial contributions may be made in Mill's memory to ProMedica Eye Center in Toledo.
