Milton Wayne Gossett

Milton Wayne Gossett, age 80, passed away on Monday, March 21, 2022, on his terms: at home, peacefully, in his sleep and surrounded by love. He was born on June 15, 1941, to the late Bernard and Margaret (Wells) Gossett, in Belton, Kentucky.
Wayne attended Woodward High School and had worked at various jobs, including welding at Chevy and Jeep. He loved watching football and playing the horses and the lottery.
He was preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Shirley (Mazuchowski); siblings, Patricia Moore and Dale Gossett; and granddaughter, Amber Morten.
Wayne is survived by his wife, Joyce Roman Thomas; daughters, Annette (Steven) Harrison, Suzette (Lenny) Futey and Lynnette Gossett; step-children, Wendy Thomas-Wilson, Michael Thomas and Jeffrey Thomas; siblings, Melva (Pete) Plocek, Dwight (Vicki) Gossett and Richard (Dina) Gossett; grandchildren, Tyler, Adrienne, Karrie, Marc, Adam, Samantha and Spencer; great-grandchildren, William, Gracie, Mariah and Lennox; special niece, Denyse Vargas; special caregiver, Stephanie Kowalski; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
According to Wayne's wishes, there will be no visitation. A Celebration of life will be held at a later date.
