Millie Walden-Liebherr, age 75 of Toledo, passed away on Saturday, October 20, 2012 at Mercy St. Anne Hospital. She was born to Walter and Ada (Bruce) Walden on October 17, 1937 in LaFollette, Tennessee. Millie enjoyed traveling with her family and creating many memorable family vacations; they traveled throughout the entire United States. Her family was very important to her and she cherished the time that she spent with them, especially the grandchildren and great-grandson. Millie also enjoyed attending services at Christ Church Triumphant. She was born a twin and treasured the bond that she had with her twin sister, Lillie. Millie will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and dear friend to many and she will be greatly missed by those who loved her.
Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Deborah (Joseph) Muranyi, Jr.; grandchildren, Christopher Modrowski, Corey Modrowski and Joseph Muranyi, III; great-grandson, Joseph T. Muranyi, IV; sister, Lillie (Rolland) Bovia; sister, Hazel (Johnnie) Parker and a host of very special nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Roscoe, Eugene, Kurt and Charles and sisters, Edna, Ester, Gladys, Marie and Betty.
The family will receive guests on Thursday, October 25, 2012 from 10:00 a.m. to Noon at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). There will be a prayer offered at the funeral home at Noon. Committal Services will follow in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
