Miles Lee Johnson

Miles Lee Johnson passed away on Tuesday, September 3, 2024, at The Regency Hospital in Oregon, Ohio. He was born on January 27, 1960, to Amanda (Johnson) Thomas and Samuel Arthur Smith. Miles was preceded in death by his mother and father. Miles comes from a family of eight children. He leaves to mourn his memory seven siblings: Pamela Grant (sister), Elnora Thomas (sister), and five brothers: Lawrence Thomas, Velthoples Thomas, Marcel Thomas, Mark Anthony, and Charles Thomas. His nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins will miss him dearly. 

Miles was a peaceful, kind-hearted man that loved his family. He attended Jesup W. Scott High School and was a member of Upper Room Tabernacle in Toledo, Ohio under the leadership of Pastor Danny E. Ransey, Sr. Miles liked to read and listen to music. Miles acknowledged the Lord Jesus Christ and his savior later in life. 

Services for Miles will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home - Northwest Chapel, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo, Ohio 43623, on Saturday, September 14, 2024, with visitation from 1:00 p.m. until the Celebration of Life Service at 2:00 p.m.
