Mildred L. Proshek

Mildred L. "Millie" Proshek, age 90, of Toledo, passed away Monday, November 7, 2016 at Lakes of Monclova. She was born on July 30, 1926 to Arvin and Ruth (Keck) Adams. Millie was an excellent baker and enjoyed cooking. She loved nothing more than taking care of her family.

Millie is survived by her loving children, Larry (Brenda) Proshek, Wesley (Diane) Proshek, Debbie (Bob) Haack, Rodney (Edee) Proshek, Martin (Brenda) Proshek, Clifford (Peggy) Proshek, and Leland (Lisa) Proshek; 25 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; and numerous great-great-grandchildren; also her siblings, Ruthann (Denny) Griffith and Edward (Margaret) Adams; sister-in-law, Wanda Lawrence; brother-in-law, Eugene (Betty) Proschek; and many other family members and dear friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Harold; son, Sidney Proshek; granddaughter, Samantha Proshek; grandson, Steven Proshek; and siblings, Norma, Dorothy, Elmer, Don and Ray.

The family will receive guests on Sunday from 2 – 8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will begin on Monday at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
