Mildred L. Bushman

Mildred L. Bushman, age 91, of Maumee, Ohio passed away Wednesday, September 11, 2013 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio surrounded by her loving family. She was born January 23, 1922 in Chevrolet, Kentucky to Staley and Daisy (Berry) Brooks. Millie loved her dogs and enjoyed weekly luncheons with her sisters at Olive Garden, her favorite restaurant. She was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church.

Left to cherish her memory is loving daughter, Victoria (Craig) Collins; granddaughters, Charlene (Mark) Turner and Courtney (Rick) LaChapelle; great grandchildren, Micah and Monica Turner; sisters, Muriel Balonek, Phyllis Cartwright and Joan (Dorsey) Kinsey; sisters in law, Marilyn Brooks and Alice Ragen. In addition to her parents, Millie was preceded in death by husband, Bill Bushman; siblings, Virginia Zielinski, James Brooks, Jacqueline Kruczkowski and David Brooks.

The Family will be hosting an OPEN HOUSE Celebration of Life on Monday, September 16, 2013 at the Maumee Senior Center, 2430 South Detroit, Maumee, Ohio from 5pm – 8pm. Graveside services will be held Saturday, September 21, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions to The Humane Society or Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
