Mildred E. Hiltman

Mildred E. "Millie" Hiltman, age 91, of Toledo, passed away on Friday, February 7, 2014. She was born to Ralph and Elsie (Stoll) Grieger on June 7, 1922, she was one of four siblings. Millie married her husband Robert on July 22, 1943, together they had three children, Roger (Rene) Hiltman, Janice (Robert) Benarth and Terry (Michelle) Hiltman.

Millie worked downtown at the old 5 and 10 cent store and later worked for TPS as a breakfast aid. She was very active in her children's activities, such as Cub and Boy Scouts, helped at Mulberry Park for the children and was active in the Mothers Club for the park. Millie volunteered for Project Dignity and the flea market at Pilgrim Church.

She is survived by her three children; grandchildren, Sherri, Chad, Edward, Carrie, Robert, Brian, Kevin, Jennifer, Julie and Cory; many precious great-grandchildren and niece, Bonnie Wyatt. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert; three siblings; daughter in law, Carol; grandson, Tony.

The family will receive guests on Wednesday, February 12, 2014 from 5-9:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will be held in the funeral home on Thursday, February 13, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.

Memorial Contributions may be made to Pilgrim Church or to Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
