Midori M. Aliemenious

Midori M. Aliemenious, age 61, of Holland, passed away peacefully Wednesday, February 4, 2009 at home with her loving family. She was born April 27, 1947 to Taguchi and Sumiko Matsuyama in Okinawa, Japan. Midori enjoyed cooking and was an avid Japanese singer. She loved nothing more than spending time with her family especially her grandchildren. Midori will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her husband of 18 years, Larry Aliemenious, son, Gary Billings and daughter, Sonya Aliemenious. Midori is survived by her loving children, Tammy (Yasuji) Hiyane, Christopher Aliemenious, Frank (Linda) Billings, Cyndie (Barry) Aliemenious and Wendy (Carl) Aliemenious; 14 loving grandchildren; mother, Sumiko Matsuyama; brothers, Iwao and Tabo; sisters, Yayoi, Kuniko and Mizue; and the SGI family.

Friends and family are invited to gather Sunday at the Hampton Inn, Bowling Green, OH at 11:00 a.m. for the World Peace Ceremony and Memorial Services to celebrate Midori's life at 1:00 p.m. The Newcomer Funeral Home (419-473-0300) assisted the family with professional services.

Those wishing to make monetary donations are asked to consider the family, Tammy Hiyane or Christopher Aliemenious.

The family would like to give a special thank you to the SGI family for all of their loving care and support given to Midori and her family thought this difficult time.
