Michelle M. Lord

Michelle M. (Vernon) Lord, age 55, of Toledo, passed away June 25, 2020 at home. She was born on December 24, 1964 to Larry and Pamela (Cisterino) Vernon in Toledo. Michelle graduated from Bowsher High School in 1983. She married her high school sweetheart, Jeffery Lord on July 21, 1984 and they went on to have 3 children. Michelle worked at Mom's Restaurant for 20 years in Swanton, Ohio. She enjoyed gardening, baking and spending time at the beach. Michelle loved nothing more than the time spent with her children and grandchildren. They were her sunshine. Michelle always put everyone before herself. Her smile, famous eye roll, kindness and selfless nature will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Patrick and Marian Cisterino and Henry and Ruth Vernon. Michelle is survived by her loving husband of almost 36 years, Jeff Lord; children, Nicole (James) Kinsman, Jeff (Erin) Lord and Bryant (Jennifer) Lord; grandchildren, Natalie, Carson, Saylor, Emelia, Layla and Lakelyn; parents, Larry and Pamela Vernon; siblings, Larry Vernon Jr., Jodi (Christopher) Sweatt, and Patrick Vernon; in-laws, Bobby and Marie Lord; brothers-in-law, Edward and David (Kim) Lord; sister-in-law, Angela (Van) Goin; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.

The family will receive guests on Wednesday, July 1, 2020 from 2 – 7:00 p.m. at Newcomer – West Sylvania Chapel, 3655 King Rd., Toledo, OH (419-392-9500). Funeral Services will be Private.
