Michele I Wood

Michele I. Wood, age 60, of Toledo, passed away June 27, 2018 at her home, surrounded by her loving family. She was born April 26, 1958 in Toledo to Raymond and Irene (Ackerman) Davidson. Michele was employed with the US Postal Service for 30+ years. She was the most dedicated Postal Employee starting as a Carrier, working her way to Supervisor and lastly as Post Master. Michele had a passion for cooking and baking, her cut-outs were the best.

Michele is survived by her children, Ryan and Nicole; grandson, Colton; sister, Patricia (Greg) Rumer; brother, John (Rachel) Davidson; nieces and nephews; and close friends, Gary, Terry and Sheri. In addition to her parents, Michele was preceded in death by her brother, Raymond Davidson.

Many thanks to Genesis Point Place, Arista Home Care and Ohio Living for their compassionate care of Michele these past months.

The family will receive guests Sunday, July 1, 2018 from 2:00 pm - 6:00 pm at Newcomer - West Sylvania Chapel, 3655 King Road (419-392-9500). Burial services will be private at Toledo Memorial Park Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society in Michele's memory.
